AMERICAN EXPRESS
Please note, the resources for Citi's premiere cards - Citi Premier Card and more - have moved to new locaton (click here).
There is the Blue Card with blue cash, there is the Green Card, there is the Platinum Card and there is the Gold Card, all of which are from American Express, and they have a good variety to choose from.
With an excellent credit, you could qualify for any of the Gold Cards or Green Cards from American Express. These cards have no pre-set spending limits, no annual fees, and in most cases, up to six months with 0% introductory APRs. The variable APR is normally low, except for the Gold Delta Sky Miles Business Credit Card and the Delta Sky Miles Gold Credit Card, with a 18.24% variable APR.
On the other hand, the Green Cards from American Express, such as the Business Green Rewards Card actually require no credit. It has no fees for the first year, no intro APR, no default APR, and an annual fee of $95.00. Of course, this is a Business Card.
There are several Platinum American Express Cards and some of them come with no pre-set spending limit. For example, the Hilton HHonors Platinum Card. This card comes with a 2.9% intro APR for six months, no annual fees and an 18.24% variable APR afterwards.
There are several Blue Cards from American Express, and the most common is the simple ‘Blue from American Express’. This card has no annual fee, a 4.99% fixed APR for balance transfers, a 12.24% variable APR and a 0% Intro APR for 15 months. Not only that, it does not require any credit.
