CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD
Considering Capital One Card? Think again!
The article that was recently published in BusinessWeek tells the story of Brad Kehn and his wife. The couple was offered multiple cards with low limit by Capital One, but then they got slammed with hefty fees every time they were over the limit. On top of that, interest rates on the other cards they had were simply skyrocketing. For the couple mentioned by BusinessWeek this created a situation in which they were paying $400 a month in late and over-limit fees alone!

The reason why this may happen to many of the Cap One card holders is the fact that instead of one card with high limit many of them will end up with a few low limit cards. According to BusinessWeek this is not a well-know practice among the sub-prime card issuers and investment community, unless the main source of income shifts from interest charges to the late and over-limit fees.
It seems that a Capital One credit card offer arrives in the mail daily and their ads show up all over the TV programs. One may think that he or she is familiar with the current promotions. But they should examine the Cap One applications before applying for any of their cards much more closely.
We can investigate a situation that may happen to you if you decide to get a Capital One card. Assuming that you have got a couple of $200 limit cards and are going shopping this weekend with them, you may not even notice how you will end up in the trap. Juggling cards at the register that fill up very quick is very confusing. It is not hard to go over the $200 limit. Then you owe them $35 over-limit fee. If you happen to have another card, your interest may as well go up by 30 to 50 percent. Multiple cards - multiple payment dates. Here is another way to get charged if you do not pay them on time.
CardFusion strongly believes that consumers have to be protected from the scams of this nature. That is why we recommend to pick credit cards that are easier to use and have better benefits than these well advertised traps. Take a look at these offers. They will give you 0% Intro APR, Rewards and CashBack.
